DE BETONG IN A GLIMPSE

Life they say often drift us to paths we least expect and no matter how long it takes our, destiny will always locate us.

As a young man growing up in the suburbs of kumba in the south west region of Cameroon, Stanley Orock, popularly known as ‘De BETONG’, who never dreamt of doing all he does now. His dreams and aspirations were completely different then. He dreamt of being a person who defends the right and interest of others and advocates for Justice and equity – reason why he studied law at the undergraduate level. De BETONG has a B.A in Common Law.
Well, the quest of a better life and better opportunities took him out of the shores of his motherland, and landed him first in Budapest, Hungary. Then in the land of blue strips cross on plane white, Finland. While in Hungary, De BETONG developed a new focus. This led him to study and obtain a diploma in International Business. In Finland, he obtained more diplomas in Natural Resource management, and entrepreneurship. This path open the gate way for De Betong to finally realizing where his true passion lies. I mean he’s been sailing on life’s ship clueless of where it’s going to lead him. And finally led him on the shore of his destiny.

Now a social Media Networker, a B2B and B2C specialist De Betong has helped connect many businesses and he also helped in the building of so many network businesses. His goal is to help people grow, discover their talents, attain their full potentials and be best version of themselves. Betong’s biggest motivation is, and I quote: “My biggest motivation is the feeling of seeing people happy doing what they are passionate about. To create a business around it and are happy doing so”. Which he has turn into a passion.

Let’s focus a little on social Media. The Betong is building a media platform known as De Betong Media, ‘his baby’ as he loves to call it. He has a mindset that allows him to be open minded and receptive to innovative ideas and collaborations that will lead to the improvement of the platform, for the benefits of it’s purpose. It should be noted that, this platform is dedicated to creating a peer to peer space that will connect and expose entrepreneurs to other businesses globally. A space where Entrepreneurs and businesses can host their events or run their programs online.

With so much on His plate one will wonder how he stays motivated in this journey, in his words he says “What motivate me now is the clarity I have in what I do and the feed back I get from people who have been motivated and inspired by my activities”

I know you are eager to learn about Betong’s future plans. After all, he has been doing this since 2019 and has recorded so much success. Still in his own word he says, “My future goal is to create a peer-to-peer video networking media platform. It will promote talent, entrepreneurs, and SMMEs.” Ambitious isn’t it? He adds that what has brought him this far is consistency and hard work.
Considering he personally built his company from scratch and has achieved so much in such a little time. One can’t help but get tickled to what more he has to offer.
